Cookery School

Who knew that Thaikhun were starting a cookery school??

Anyone who is a regular reader of my blog will know how much I have grown to love Thaikhun, and when the opportunity for a mate date arose, at Thaikhun at Intu MetroCentre, I was not going to refuse.

Deb from Country Heart and Home invited me along as her plus one for the first outing of the Thaikhun Cooking School. The cookery school takes place once every four weeks and is two hours long.

“The Cooking school is £50 and includes a welcome drink and an introduction to Thai ingredients.  This is the followed by a demonstration and practical hands on session learning to cook a main and a starter. All equipment and aprons are provided and there is a goody bag to take home”

Coming of Age

As I lay here in my sick bed I am reminded of the disadvantages to your kids starting nursery.

I have been very lucky to spend the first three years of my children’s lives almost exclusively with them. On a couple of occasions they have been put in to a private nursery, but we have benefited from one on one time and it has been amazing. However, come the couple of months before their third birthdays, they, as well as me, have been ready for Nursery to begin.

Surely I am not the only one that looks forward to them finally being eligible for Nursery?

What’s in the box?

Like most children, ours love to collect the little pocket money type toys. Going back a few years the boys collected GoGo’s, Moshi Monsters and although they don’t admit it they like Lego Minifigures still.

The girls love the Num Noms, Shopkins and Tsum Tsum’s but when there is something new on the scene we simply have to start collecting them too.

When the post man knocked at the door on Saturday with a mystery package for them they were intrigued and excited to find out what was inside.
