Like most children, ours love to collect the little pocket money type toys. Going back a few years the boys collected GoGo’s, Moshi Monsters and although they don’t admit it they like Lego Minifigures still.
The girls love the Num Noms, Shopkins and Tsum Tsum’s but when there is something new on the scene we simply have to start collecting them too.
When the post man knocked at the door on Saturday with a mystery package for them they were intrigued and excited to find out what was inside.
Well in to 2017 that we now are, I decided to have a look back through what happened in 2016. There were so many lovely moments that sometimes only a phone can capture. Precious memories, facial expressions that make you smile, and ones that make you remember the good points that the year gone buy held.
Knitting really is my guilty pleasure. I simply do not get the time that I would like to knit these days. Small things are my favourite and when I got a message from a friend in the lead up to Christmas I was only happy to oblige.
After seeing my work from the past, she asked if I would knit a special friend for her five year old daughter who had asked Santa for a special someone from Santa. Unfortunately, Santa could not find ALDI’s Kevin the Carrot, and asked if I would be able to create something special for her.
