Baby No More

There comes a point when you realise that your baby is no longer a baby.

When Libby turned three I was pregnant with Penny, so her leaving the baby years behind her was sad but I knew I would get to do it all again. This time however I felt decidedly different.

On the 19th of December 2013 at 9.24am I gave birth to Penelope Mary. Weighing in at 8lbs and 5 ounces she weighed in the biggest of my three children. Biscuits “To Go”

One thing we have a serious addiction for in this house is biscuits. The classics being the most loved.

The girls love their Custard Creams, I like a Hobnobs and the boys love a Chocolate Digestive.

I was recently asked to give the new McVities “To Go” range a try and of course I jumped at the chance. As with other McVities products I have tried I love the fact that these packs of two biscuits are perfect size to put in a lunch box.

McVities have a range of their well loved favourites in the “To Go” range. These are Original Digestives, Milk Chocolate Digestives, Dark Chocolate Digestives and Milk Chocolate Hobnobs.

Research suggests that there is an increasing amount of people embracing, and taking the “Grab and Go” eating habits. McVities have invested a lot of time and money in pin pointing the best way to present the product.

Each individual pack contains two biscuits and they can be bought as individual packs or in a pack of six.

These can be found in your local supermarket and retail at around £1.59.

So when Mark and I got talking to Maggie at Crook Hall about the private space they have for Afternoon Tea. I instantly knew I had found the venue for Mum’s, by then, very belated birthday gift.
