Well in to 2017 that we now are, I decided to have a look back through what happened in 2016. There were so many lovely moments that sometimes only a phone can capture. Precious memories, facial expressions that make you smile, and ones that make you remember the good points that the year gone buy held.
The reason I started my blogging journey was to share our health journey with you. In doing so I hoped that I could help just one person. The response has been amazing.
As time has gone on, I have found that I really enjoy writing about all sorts of everything. The opportunities I have been offered have been amazing and I can only hope that 2017 brings more and that I can put my heart and soul in to everything that I write. (More so than I already have).
One thing I especially enjoy writing about is what we have been up to and our adventures, and as it happens the end of 2016 we were very busy.
There comes a point when you realise that your baby is no longer a baby.
When Libby turned three I was pregnant with Penny, so her leaving the baby years behind her was sad but I knew I would get to do it all again. This time however I felt decidedly different.
On the 19th of December 2013 at 9.24am I gave birth to Penelope Mary. Weighing in at 8lbs and 5 ounces she weighed in the biggest of my three children. What a blessing she was, and is still to this day. There is never a dull moment with our little Tasmanian devil. Coming in to the world days before Christmas she changed our world in 2013 and has continued to do so ever since.
