Katie’s Garden – Sunderland

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the Autumn and Winter launch at “Katie’s Garden” in Sunderland.

What a hidden little treasure this place is….

Described by it’s founders as Rachel and Kathryn as a “Vintage Crafting Tea Room” it is a beautiful nook for Afternoon Tea Hunters and Crafters alike.

Rachel and Kathryn, on the Katies Garden website say…..

We began planning & creating what is now our bustling crafting garden focusing on creating a memorable crafting experience for all ages, abilities and interests.

We wanted to show people that crafts aren’t just for the kids and have succeeded in creating a multi award winning business that attracts customers from far and wide.”

There really is something for everyone.

You can book in for Breakfast, Afternoon Tea or whatever you fancy and while you are there you can purchase, if you wish, a creation to make there and then.

The packs include everything you may need to make your creation and glue, glue guns, hairdryers and more are all on standby for you too complete your master piece.

They also host parties of all kinds and help make your day everything you would like it to be and more.

For more information and what Katies Garden offer, you can visit Katies Garden. They are located on High Street West in Sunderland with a Car Park all but next door. They can also be found on the Web, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
